The fact of the matter is that your standard person doesn't give a flying shit about privacy or a censored web. User data is a bigger industry than oil now, they don't care. Snowden tells everyone about PRISM and the surveillance state, doesn't even hit their radar (there was a crazy poll that stated something like 80% of America didn't know who he was).

If they can't see it or aren't told to be outraged by the major news groups, they don't care. Youtube is literally censoring wrong think and no one would ever even be bothered to go to an alternative URL to watch a video from someone they like.

We kind of deserve our fate in sad way. The 2% that do care don't matter because they're only 2% (it's probably much smaller than that)

well, 'genius is 99 percent of toil + 1 percent of talent, but the 1 percent is irreplaceable.'

I also made some drawings, ugly drawings, but it can be explained this way in about 5 minutes: https://jmichaelhudson.net/4-important-drawings/

People do not realize the people trying to help them are under attack, and so they think there is nothing they can do, and without a bread crumb trail out of the thought cage, they will never find the people trying to help them. Meanwhile so few people who are not corrupt earn enough money to have any left over to do something like buy one of my books that the entire alternative culture is hamgstrung. And those with enough money to donate are afraid to because they might be stalked like I am.

Situation is grim, but we are also at a point where even a few connections between people with some amount of power and some powerless people with some good ideas, could still do something.

But dang the internet seems broken, in that there are two classes, forever separated, with a literal army of shiills in between causing all manner of chaos so that this doesn't happen, and so the people looking for solutions can't find those who are offering them.

If this pandemic has shown me anything it is that most people suck at thinking for themselves.
