So you just have to update the https certificate! That isn't that big of a deal, the host I use includes annual, free ssl encryption in their lowest price package if you set-up auto-renewal (getting billed automatically once every year on the same date). It's almost standard now for it to be free/cheap ($2.00 a year or something like that), at least in my experience.

I've had some trouble with Brave myself though. Ever since the latest release, for at least 2 weeks, I wasn't getting Rewards Notifications.. My Ad counter was going up in my Rewards page, but I wasn't receiving BAT. Support said they had found a bug, fixed it, but nothing had changed.. Support promised to make good on all missing BAT ("or better") which "had been logged & tracked due to them being aware of this bug" (so they still knew how much BAT you were owed, the bug was just "preventing the system from paying it out"). This of course never happened and they completely ignore the topic and act like they never said it. Then some users mentioned that the new update blocked notifications from Brave, told users to go check out the Brave Website and click the https certificate and "Allow notifications" if blocked..

It was kinda shady how my notifications were all the sudden blocked when they were allowed previously and I never touched them. And when I'd check my rewards page, my Ad counter was going up, even though I wasn't seeing any rewards or earning BAT. Any thread made about allowing notifications on Reddit got removed and down-voted (I have proof if you want lol), and on the BATcommunity, locked and hidden (you could find them via search). As soon as I re-allowed notifications from Brave, I literally got 2 rewards notifications in 15 minutes; I took screenshots and made a thread about it, and BAT support removed it and told me I was wrong and this wouldn't help people, when it fixed this "major bug" for everyone I had passed it onto. There's just something shady about Brave imo.

At the very least, the good news is, I'm sure Brave partnering with The Wayback Machine will influence BAT's value. If that value will be maintained and how much it may increase, who knows.

.1 of a token has gone up 3.05591% since the announcement which isn't anything special tbh, but I'm thinking that'll increase in time as people will find this a valuable addition, and may just be another thing to add on the list that draws people over to Brave or BAT (not to say there aren't cons/potentially shady shit like the above that may make people want to stay away).
