I use Brave and never noticed any ads, some stuff doesn't work so well, but it has been a better experience then chrome.

Better than chrome, hmm like firefox? :p JK

This article is more geared (in my view) against the Brave promises about ads and their coin and those relations with content-creators. And that in various ways Brave is more 'tracking' you (the browser's ecosystem with the coins and the sites associated with them etc. than ANY other browser).

Als alternative: Firefox with adblockers (I suggest go full no-script suite and find out which 'local' js you need to view a site). But there is palemoon, LibreWolf and many others that don't have a company behind them like Firefox and Brave have.

Just saying, when there is money involved... (and with Brave: Palantir, Peter Thiel, check those two out if the article isn't enough to deter you).

Else well, like any other visiting my sub: Hope your journey into cyberspace goes as smooth as possible, but when in need check back here ;) In cyber days a 'told you so' is forgotten in minutes and you will get aid.
