I love blocking ads on their site with Brave browser.

Blocking ads with...

surprise—ads.

But wait—come back! Not just any ads. New and improved ads. Ads that are “private” and “authentic” and “rewarding” and a bunch of other virtuous notions sprayed side-to-side like Febreze in a frat-house bathroom. But once you wave away the spring-fresh scent, the stench of the grubby reality returns: it’s just Brave’s ads for Brave’s advertisers.

Well the orgin-story of Brave is also in the article (might come across as biased) But the truth about Brave being different from Firefox or anything: it's worse for all, Ad-notifications on OS-notif level: WTF-BBQ!?

But not knowing your setup, it might just workout just the way you like it.
