Hopefully there will be some solution and this is not the end of invidious. This has been a great tool for me de-googling my internet life and I would be sorry to see it go. I may try creating my own invidious instance but some of the github posts say they're being blocked even if they only view a small number of videos per day.

Maybe go full retard and have a vps download request videos and serve them up in magnet links. Have it seed for an hour and back off to download more videos while the audience takes into uploading. Kinda like bitchute but not http torrent, also the ability to merge all websites that can be downloaded into a single website.

Basically pirate bay except stealing youtube instead of videos. Bots can be written, in browser playback is already possible.

My buddy manually adds videos to his plex server this way. Mostly science videos but it's become his own channel, pretty nice.
