300hours?

I have like 3500 in Neverwinter, 5000 in Metin, 10000 in LoL, 3000 in CS 1.6 and lots and lots of games with hundreds hours.

Edit: Gothic II takes around 80-100hours for full completion. I finished it like.. 15 times. Also try the new mod to Gothic II, Chronicles of Myrtana, Polish dev team made a mod which is better than entire series and takes even longer than actual game. Gothic is the most classic RPG for me

Either way, if you liked the Skyrim climate, check out Witcher 1-3, Gothic series (especially II, it will work on shit PC even, it's old game) and Risen series (should work on shit PC too)

300 only on one save for Switch. I have lord knows how many hours played on my shitty computer with all graphical settings on low-medium. I have also 100 on Oblivion (wasn’t really much left to do anymore), 100 on KCD (I’m planning on doing a Hardcore run in that game before autumn arrives. There’s a trophy called Virgin you’ll get for beating that game without romancing any of the girls and I got it in my first try without even knowing kek) and I have no idea about my Zelda hours, they’re probably in the three digits territory too.

How in the fuck did you spend 10K hours on LOL? My condolences brocel. You deserved better.

check out Witcher 1-3

I tried getting into The Witcher 3 so many times but ultimately failed. Decided to just put it down. It’s a great game, but sadly it’s just not made for me. I find it funny how normies think that game’s an RPG btw. It’s a very solid action adventure game with couple of choices being thrown at you here and there and with some basic role playing elements, but it’s overall not a proper RPG.

Never played Risen but I loved Gothic II as a kid.

My shitiest time of gaming - I wanted to climb up ranking but hated the game.

Well if Witcher isn't an RPG, then Skyrim isn't RPG even more - it has good gear getting and build mechanics, great world and lore, but it's the shitiest game at plot and building character. The most classic RPG games would only fit criteria. It's like, I can agree Mass Effect isn't RPG at all, but Witcher definitely is.

I’m so sorry brocel. I know that feeling. Reminds me of my Apex Legends phase in 2019.

Witcher lacks everything that defines The Elder Scrolls as an RPG lol. You can pickpocket, steal, kill NPCs, fully decorate a house, get a wife and children, you can be good, bad, in between, whatever, you get to PLAY as a ROLE. In the Witcher 3, you can’t even escape being Geralt. You have to play as what the game wants you to play. There’s almost zero freedom in gameplay. The game won’t even allow you to attack any of the NPCs, let alone killing them.

For me, an RPG is being able to live in a world where there are consequences. In The Witcher 3, you can go to everyone’s house, steal their shit and yet no one would give a fuck lol. Even if you manage to somehow upset the guards, you can just fast travel, come back, and they’ve completely forgotten about you. In Elder Scrolls, you have to pay a fee or go to jail.

Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Divinity: Original Sin 1 and 2, Pillars of Eternity 1 and 2. All great examples of actual RPGs where the world you live in genuinely feels alive and you can’t just do whatever you want in them without suffering the consequences.

Google “The Witcher 3 is not an RPG” and you’ll have hundreds of people agreeing with the statement but whatever my man, if you believe it’s a proper RPG go ahead, don’t let me stop you. Saying The Witcher 3 is an RPG feels like saying Horizon: Zero Dawn and Assassin’s Creed: Origins were also RPGs. It sounds like I’m really hating the game, but I’m not. Like I said, great game. Just not a (good) RPG in my opinion.

Highly, HIGHLY recommend you to give this a watch:

I never got into gaming my spatial sense is horrible so my mind keeps spinning. If I ever start selling my plasma I might buy a copy off your rec doe.

I don’t really play that many games anymore nowadays, they can’t keep me interested for more than an hour.

I might be a copy off your rec doe.

Get all the Elder Scrolls games, Fallout games, Breath of the Wild, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Stardew Valley, The Sims series, Portal 1 & 2, Red Dead Redemption 1, The Last of Us 1, all the Grand Theft Auto games (including and especially LCS & VCS, underrated gems), South Park games (playing tsof lately and it’s amazing), Persona series, indie gems like Stardew Valley, Hollow Knight, choice based games like Until Dawn, Quantic Dream’s collection, Telltale’s The Walking Dead, FUCK there are SO many “actually” good games I can’t recommend them all lol and you might end up wanting to sell my plasma too in order to afford them all so feel free to pirate on GOG (best place since it’s a DRM-free service), no one gives a shit. Just do your best to stay away from those fucking mainstream triple A titles like the new Assassin’s Creed games or literally anything Ubisoft’s put out in the past decade that didn’t have UbiArt involved in it or Sony’s open world exclusives like Horizon: Zero Dawn.

They will consume your soul and will leave you empty just as much as they are. They’re not NEAR as good as these leftist game journalists want you to believe.

It sits in my library for 2 years now without touching it, maybe I should try it

Get into it homie. Solid anti-depressant. If it’s your first time playing, then consider it golden.

I really hope that Bethesda doesn't fuck it all up with TES 6, also; that they release it within the next 3 years at least.

Not even in your wildest dream, brocel. They haven’t even fully finished Starfield (which pisses me off btw, I wanted to get a PS5 cause I’ve been with PlayStation my whole life but now I have to invest in switching this year to Xbox for the first time ever. Genius move by Philly boy.)

I’d say we’ll see both GTA VI and TES VI roughly around 2027 or maybe even late 2026 if we’re lucky.

Yet another blackpill. RIP

Oh well, at least I have Nazralath to look forward to.
