Are streaming services good copes, or normie propaganda?

I am sure many of you know that AppleTV+ and Disney+ recently premiered, and everyone is watching to see if these media giants will be able to compete with Netflix. Lots of normies at my job are talking about the streaming wars nonstop, and it is certainly a hot topic around the water cooler.

When it comes to these giant companies, I don’t trust them for a fucking second, and it kind of makes me sick to see so many sheep wandering mindlessly into the consumer mindset of watching Marvel and Star Wars movies over and over again while Disney and Apple rake in even more cash.

That said, I have been trying out the free trial of Disney+, and I am a slave to the nostalgia of having every Star Wars film to watch, and I almost cried watching some of the old Disney films like Hercules and Robin Hood because it made my inner child rise to the surface of my withered heart. Even Frozen was giving me warm tinglies inside as I let my mind go bluepilled for a bit in this idealistic, meticulously-crafted fantasy world.

What is your take on these streaming giants? Evil scam for normie sheep, or good cope for incels?

I don't care we continue to talk about oh noes myuh normie sheeple yet the normie sheeple keep producing massive shekels for the kushner overlords, but what can we do about it? In my opinion most movies are overratted garbage personally you go through them with some scenes that interest you but for the most part the movies is garbage and boring same with shows, books, and video games

most media is garbage in general, it is all feel good shit, many movies in the past were scrapped because they were too "dark"

Nothing is on it right now. Everybody thought they would come out swinging to destroy Netflix and Disney+, but they have a truly pathetic line-up. I got 1 free year for purchasing an Apple TV though, so I am going to cope with what Apple dripfeeds me during the coming months.

If you think it's a fun cope then go for it, almost anything including vidya and anime can be normie propaganda it's all a matter if you enjoy it or not.

well it's both. it's a good cope with lots of propaganda. but who cares you're probably high iq enough to be immune to it. and as if streaming has made any diff to propaganda, there was just as much before streaming.
