Imagine risking and committing your entire life to one massive decision and then finding out the decision was 100% wrong. That would be brutal.

That said, I watch the Louis Theraux documentary about transexuals and they had this one F-to-M, and she/he was black, and seriously looked 100% like a male, almost a Tyrone. It was one of the rare instances where I actually think the conversion was probably the right decision. I'd like to think I'm open minded enough to believe in some rare cases changing someone's gendeer is actually the correct move. But most of these cases are just gay guys who want more attention and like playing dress up.
