More than half of transgender male teens who participated in the survey reported attempting suicide in their lifetime, while 29.9 percent of transgender female teens said they attempted suicide. Among non-binary youth, 41.8 percent of respondents stated that they had attempted suicide at some point in their lives.

This is saying that in the survey, more than 50% of the mentally ill females that want to be a man, attempted suicide; and 29.9% of the mentally ill males that want to be a woman, attempted suicide.

The women that wanted to be a man were being treated like a man and that made them more likely to be suicidal than the mentally ill men that were being treated like a woman.

I laugh at women who become men. They threw away easy mode

Meanwhile I am able to see why men want to be women. Society has made women especially middle class and upper class white women so powerful. The privilege is intoxicating

Imagine risking and committing your entire life to one massive decision and then finding out the decision was 100% wrong. That would be brutal.

That said, I watch the Louis Theraux documentary about transexuals and they had this one F-to-M, and she/he was black, and seriously looked 100% like a male, almost a Tyrone. It was one of the rare instances where I actually think the conversion was probably the right decision. I'd like to think I'm open minded enough to believe in some rare cases changing someone's gendeer is actually the correct move. But most of these cases are just gay guys who want more attention and like playing dress up.
