Ultimately the removal of the proverbial Chesterton's fence was due to greedy i.e. weak men. Letting women be hypergamous did work for a while. Apparently it was impossible to be incel in the late 1970s and early 1980s. I'm sure a divorce lawyer played a huge role in making it so easy for divorce to occur in the 1970s. Let's not forget all the money made by pharmaceutical companies from birth control, which need I remind you is one of the only drugs the government provides to its citizens for free.

On paper it sounded great! Trickle down sex. I can't pretend I wouldn't have fallen for it myself.
