As for this comment, come on dude. This isn't a fucking zoo. We're not lab experiments. We're people.

I honestly don't think you understand the impact of being an ugly yet not visibly disfigured male (there's a difference between genetics as a cause and environment as a cause). Talk to me when you go outside and get looked at like you're a criminal just for existing. It's not that I think I'm unworthy, it's that everyone else does, and they make it blatantly obvious way past the point of covering it up.
Haircuts and shit are cope, when you're a 5/10 maybe sure it can help, but when you have a legit subhuman face your best hope is surgery, to women, what matters most is a man's bone structure, everything on top of that is just icing. Manlets have it the worst though, because surgery can't even help them.
Not only women care about looks and height, look into the halo effect, men over 6'0 are vastly overrepresented in top Fortune 500 positions for instance, people (men and women) when asked to make judgements about someone based on their face almost overwhelmingly immediately associated bad to worst traits with the ugliest males while saying the handsome ones looked successful and moral. This can pervade even when somebody knows an individual personally, I've had people I considered my friends tell me that they thought I was literally planning a mass shooting, admittedly based entirely off how I look.
Really, don't just lurk here, go to /r/blackpillscience on reddit and read, edumacate yoself, and once you're attuned to human behaviour in the presence of an ugly male, you'll start noticing it everywhere and maybe you can begin to understand where all this "hate" comes from.

I find it consistently entertaining that everyone that I talk to on this matter "knows this guy who's short and ugly but doing fine" but I've never actually met that guy before. Maybe these guys you refer to have more going on than meets the eye. It's like going to the deep south in the 50s and being like "racism isn't a problem I know this one guy who's black etc etc".
The problem goes so far beyond not being able to find a partner, I just want to be treated like a human being for a start. Like that's it, that's all I want, I want to be able to walk down the street without people fucking grimacing at me like I'm some sort of rabid beast that got let out of its cage, if I could have just that then I wouldn't be here because I'd be content enough to move forward in life, but as of right now I see literally no point in continuing, if everyone's just going to assume the worst about me because of the way my skull looks it's much harder for me to win people over with "personality" (which I have obviously managed, but I have to put in a lot more mental effort than 90% of men would), it will be harder for me to be respected anywhere I go, for what? Some guy who was born with the right face walks in and immediately gets more love than I ever did in my life just for existing, and invalidates all my hard work. Fuck that.

Yeah, they created a connection probably without knowing how they looked like. Thanks to the mmorpg creating a situation where they are forced to spend time together. But not only is that rare, there are many horror stories from people who met online.
There are also many examples given of people spending months or years connecting online. Only for the woman to either leave immediately, sometimes not even making contact, upon the first real life meeting, and never to be heard again.

yes but rarely. And there plenty of guys who get rejected by just about every female in their social circle, no matter how much they connect with them. And online dating and random approaches are even less likely to succeed.

Look, in one's real life social circle rapport can be created and such relations can emerge organically, though the uglier the less likelier it is to happen. As people are basically forced to spend time together in many scenarios, and such can happen.
But randomly approaching someone at a bar or on the streets will be an almost impossible case for those who're ugly. Also online dating will also be an abyss, no matter how hard you try.
Yes there are some mentally ill sex addict women who do whore themselves out for free, but not only are they probably std filled, but their mental instability is likely an issue. You could have one night stands dumpster diving, but at least when there are serious mental issues and serious std issues, that is not good for long term companionship.

I mean sure out in the streets in most cases people will be polite. But when you see mainstream media portrayals of high school with the jocks and cool kids, as well as the losers and nerds. Those popularity levels, and those bullying, and that social ladder that occurs naturally, all of that originates in large part based on looks.
Also, while I'm polite to people that have a criminal like face, I'm sure there are many that wouldn't be.

Never knew that men gave that much of a shit
Aren't men scared of going bald? Aren't men scared of being short? Men lie about their height. Men style their hair, they crop out unattractive people from their group photos e.t.c.
Do you do any of this stuff? If yes, you also care.

If I loose enough and it started to bother me I will definitely get some scalp micropigmentation (highly suggest researching it).
So you are wary of losing your hair, perhaps if you didn't care you wouldn't even be thinking about that in the first place.
I don't know if you can be scared of being short as a man, but maybe as a boy? By the time you are a man, you are fully grown and not getting any taller.
Because being short means you are genetically inferior, tall men are more intimidating and they could survive better in nature.
I don't see how you can lie about height, it's something you can see.
If every man lies about his height then you can lie too.
I have never cropped someone out of a photo or group photo.
Again this is solipsism.
And some guys do style their hair
Almost every dude does. An extreme minority doesn't.
I have a friend who was a literal 9, absolutely gorgeous and she wanted a nose job. It was inconceivable to me,
Because she wanted to become prettier.
but what someone sees about themselves is not at all what others see.
How do you know that?
The root of the problem is fixation,
Fixation comes from mockery.
99% of the people you meet IRL are not intensely studying your face/features. It's a glace and that's it.
Exactly. They take a quick look at your height, skin and face and decide.

people are not studying your face, obviously, unless you have some deformity, are extremely ugly or are super attractive. But subconsciously it affects their behavior. There are studies were faces are flashed too fast to be perceived and later words are presented positive and negative. The tendency to choose positive or negative is affected depending on what you were unconsciously shown.
Also even when asked, people will attach positive attributes to good looking and to tall people. And they'll tend to attach negative attributes to bad looking and short people. Research the halo effect.
video on halo effect based on looks. It is automatic, instinctive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEho_4ejkNw

I'll say I don't normally judge faces on the street. But there are some faces that do look sketchy, that make you think: "man this guy's probably a criminal or dangerous!". I can't be sure what triggers it, but I think it has been suggested AI face scanners can tell criminals from noncriminals. That there are indeed facial features common to most criminals.
"Concerns as face recognition tech used to 'identify' criminals" https://www.newscientist.com/article/2114900-concerns-as-face-recognition-tech-used-to-identify-criminals/
There's been some research suggesting it may be possible. We need to see whether further research confirms it or not. There was similar research suggesting AI could tell homosexuality with higher than chance odds from faces too.
Remember like 50% of the genome is used in the brain. It isn't implausible that some of the genes involved in face structure are reused in the brain, and could affect behavior.
As for bad boys, no. An ugly bad boy will be sent to jail quite quickly especially if he is abusive. A chad can have bad behavior and get lighter sentences, and even if he's a serial killer chad many girls will actually come from all over the nation to have sex with him in prison.
