I wonder what the author of this quote would say if he had a time machine and have seen the current generation, in any country (other than the Gulf states?). Or if he would even say anything. He would probably laugh at all the political movements that think that this or that country, or humanity in general, is not beyond saving. And he would probably be sad about the depth of the degradation humanity stooped down to.
