Being a curmudgeon, grumpy, argumentative, combative, debating, etc may be unpleasant to many yet may be productive or may simply be your genuine nature. None of this is terribly problematic or unique to our community. You are not questioning or arguing in bad faith.

Sealioning is the technique of a bad faith inauthentic "polite" timesuck asstroll and/or a shill with an agenda, paid or not, ignorant or intentional, who is determined to never learn anything, tie you up in perpetual circular logic argument knots, never grow, waste time, waste resources, waste motivation, and is determined to muddy up forums and/or harm good sites. First and always, never budging, never growing, never evolving, from their cemented positions they start arguments and only select and cite the information they need to waste your time. They deflect, squirm, evade, distract, change topic, spin, lie, and say they will look at your counter-information and never do. Inauthentic through and through. If this isn't downward bad faith I don't know what is.

In this global health-sanitation & surveillance war /u/socks and /u/ShalomEveryone (and /u/ActuallyNot who I haven't seen for a while) are inauthentic agents of chaos, enemies of truth-seeking, and authoritarians blindly worshiping Zionist controlled brainwashing lying corporate media, corrupt mafia governments, and mass-murdering mass-harming big pharma who has captured and corrupted all systems beyond recognition for their eugenics depopulation /s/Agenda21_Agenda2030 and manufactured collapse of the West via lockdowns and decay. They are the enemies within, whether they know it or not, whether they acknowledge it or not.

IMO, we should not waste time on their bullshit as we need to focus on quality, learning about the problems accurately (without misinfo BS), and critically finding alternatives, solutions, and ways to resist, avoid, and counter those problems.
