"Censorship" already exists on SaidIt and always has. Spam, porn, advocating violence, advocating child abuse, excessive downward trolling - they've all been "censored" which makes SaidIt a better community than other "free-speech" forums. SaidIt has never been for unbridled "free-speech" chaos, though it has always been for free-thinkers and truth-seeking. This is terrific, though there has been friction in the past over HOW this absolutely necessary management has been handled without being FOTPACH (fair, open, transparent, peaceful, accountable, consistent, honest).

I am all for supporting federation of some kind. I would look into this more if there was a programmer.

Maybe, I don't know. SaidIt has a built-in wiki, inherited from Reddit. I honestly think this is stupid and the wiki should be removed and instead it should just link to external wiki. But that is something to discuss later.

The inherited default has it's very limited uses, and I agree that an external wiki could be much better. I already started outlining ideas for bridging between sites and platforms: https://Projex.Wiki/wiki/WIP#Bridging_to_do. Not a top priority, but is certainly on my sloppy wish list that I need to organize better.

Coder
A coder could do things that you want, that M7D3 wants, and that Projex and/or WikiSpooks want. Wishes may mostly align, but priorities may not. That's what I meant.

oAuth + NextCloud
We've been talking about these as next steps. I need to powwow with my local Windsor folks about these to develop a case-use to present to d3rr, but right now many are preoccupied with Truckin Ottawa. I should also reach out to /u/Robin of WikiSpooks about this too. Have you any interest in participating? Have you ideas or opinions on these? With a Federated platform (or several) in the oAuth mix we could by extension be semi-Federated, though we'd all likely be relegated to the Deplorables' side of the tracks soon enough.

I think more mods would help (d3rr's addition of mods helped), because that can potentially build content, which Saidit needs (and mods should be encouraged to post content). And I think the entire POD can be replaced with one rule: no personal attacks (eg. attack the points or arguments as much as one wants, but not the user).

I like arguing. I think no one is properly sealioning on Saidit, regardless of the ad hominem attacks from those who say someone is sealioning, or in bad faith, or whatever. If those ad hominem attacks are reduced (by users, mods and admins), I think Saidit will grow.
