Says who? Hydrogen is a rather impractical electrical storage method, since water electrolysis is inefficient. This means that hydrogen is, at the moment, basically another fossil fuel.
If we get more stories like this one, then maybe. But the current state of the art is an atom-perfect platinum-carbon-platinum sandwich and it still wastes energy.
Keep in mind that pushing hydrogen is great for Shell and co.; they're not unbiased.
