I understand why there pushing for hydrogen fuel, it cost $16.51 per kilogram and The Toyota Mirai has gas tank sizes ranging from 32.3 gallons to 37.5 gallons so add it up. About $550 to fill up and drive 850 miles.

Recheck your sources.

Mirai tank = 5 Kg. Around 375-400 miles range.

1 Kg H2 = about the same energy as 1 gallon petrol.

5 x $16.51 = $82.55

Hydrogen will cost less in the future.

Hydrogen is how to store renewable energy like solar.
