Plot twist hydrogen isn't a low-carbon alternative due to the fact you have to source it from somewhere. It does burn cleaner though. So does propane, but who cares about mature technology when we can pay our special industry buddies to build new?

Not practical to make propane at home but one day soon home hydrogen dispensers will be affordable, especially wrapped up in a mortgage.

Sure everyone worth listening to knows . . . but then it's to be recalled we're talking about politicans trying to green up the country's transport industry, no?
