I met a guy who works with large passenger/vehicle ferries for my area. (Probably more than 100+ hours of ferry traffic per day) He was recently in a meeting that decided the future of power choice for the next generation of ferries. He told me it was looking good that the choice would be hydrogen.

I asked "Where do we get the hydrogen for that many ferries?"

He said "It takes large fossil-fuel powered factories produce the hydrogen."

Corporatism and bureaucratic deals win again.

Do you think it's a good idea to form your opinion of H2 based on the statements from one "guy"? Why not read the just released Australian National Hydrogen Strategy - authored in part by Australia's Chief Scientist Dr. Alan Finkel (136 page PDF 22 NOV 2019)

LA TIMES: California invested heavily in solar power. Now there's so much that other states are sometimes paid to take it

Not since the height of the "Drug War" has there been so many misconceptions and outright lies told about something so important.
