Having sex with an HIV positive member of the opposite sex only gives you a 7/10,000 chance to contract HIV, its very very rare for the infection to pass around in the way you are suggesting. Someone with HIV would have to fuck over 1000 people of the opposite sex to cause even 1 infection this way on average

Yes, I agree monkeypox should be much much easier for straight people to contract from risky homosexuals. It is quite curious that this isn't really happening (99% homosexual men according to CDC). Personally I would bet that this has something to do with all these people taking PREP drugs, it is very hard to explain why other non-gays aren't getting infected from close contact with these people. In Africa monkeypox spreads just fine among heterosexuals, I am really baffled, and wonder whether this is even monkeypox at all
