I feel exposure to morning light is very important too. The body aligns itself with the sunlight, and fake light tricks us and throws it out of whack.
Although I don't know how practical it is to avoid artificial light in the modern world. It's not hard to block out light in your bedroom, but unless you go to bed at sunset and wake at dawn, still gonna get artificial light.

The fact that every phone charger has an LED in which lights up the whole room winds me up.
I think red and orange lights don't mess with your sleep, why not just use those colours if you need an "on" light.

My car phone charger has a brilliant blue eye that helpfully shines in my eyes just to let me know it has power. I should tape that over.
