Haven't read the article, but I wonder if this is a predetermined outcome. Meaning those with really messed up mental health are the ones who choose not to eat meat. I mean I am pretty sure the men who I have seen who claim to be a woman, for example, are probably much more likely to be non-meat eaters. This outcome should have been pretty easy to predict.
