A good list of countries as well as U.S. cities that have banned or restricted glyphosate. From July 2018, found on the website of the law firm that represented Dwayne Johnson against Monsanto.

The article didn't mention North Korea's principled stance against Monsanto.

With this verdict North Korea asked Dennis to discreetly smuggle in some Round Up so they can sue Monsanto and quadruple the national income.

I counted 25 countries, and many of them are the most developed European countries, including Germany, England, France, Switzerland, etc. Really makes me wonder what the fuck we're doing here in the US. I guess this is what happens when companies run governments. They invent loopholes for themselves and their products.

It looks like those in charge of public safety here in the US just let these guys run with little or no checks; maybe I'm wrong but I'm looking into how the system operates at the moment (and it's not exactly user friendly). The amount of glyphosate used has exploded in the last 20 or so years in the US; from less than 4lbs/square mile in 1993 to 88.06lbs/square mile in 2015. Common sense would tell me that the exposure limits would be exceeded with that much increase, not sure if and how food and water was being monitored. So much fear mongering and shilling out there it's hard to get at facts.

Yeah I have heard of the explosion of the use of glyphosate before but those numbers really put it in perspective. Also late pre-harvest use scenarios like desiccation in wheat has increased, which increases the likelihood of it being eaten.

The reason is that hose in charge of public safety literally ARE monsanto. Monsanto has captured the regulatory bodies that are supposed to be watching it, in a process called "Regulatory capture". Please look carefully at this and you will see what I mean: http://occupy-monsanto.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/individual_monsanto_federal_position-large.jpg

Thanks for posting the graphic, that is really helpful and everyone needs to see it, click on it, and spread it around.

Not really surprised that Monsanto is linked with regulatory capture, but fairly shocked at how long that list is. It is so blatant that the game is rigged in their favor when you look at that, and they have gotten away with so much with hardly a whisper from the press.

I'm wondering if the merger with Bayer and the upcoming name change was staged to coincide with the lawsuit and negative press; it seems too convenient.

Yup I think you're right on the money. The media is being paid to look the other way, I'm sure. As are many scientific journals.

I'd love for everyone to see this diagram.

I just learned Hillary Clinton worked for Monsanto at one point, as did Clarence Thomas: https://www.ac2news.com/wp-content/uploads/Monsant-cc-cc-565x362.png

You can't just force grow stuff it's like force growing yourself, you lack nutrient density ect when you don't get the right foods. No foods are good righ tnow bc we are over population.
