I believe this is the official of who is called in English "Our Lady of Good Success" but I understand that is a bad translation. The better translation I understand to be: "Our Lady of the Good Event of the Purification". This, better, translation puts the events in Quito in their proper context with regard to the mosaic* made up of the many Marian apparitions including La Salette, Fatima, Garabanda, Tre Fontane (Our Lady of the Revelation), and her locutions to Father Gobbi.

These are just some of the Marian apparitions where she discusses tragedies that will (or, are now) befalling the church and the world, and they do fit together to give us a clear picture of what is going on in the world and in the church. the youtube channel Marian News has three videos about what happened at Quito in Ecuador. It is from the SSPX website, which some people might have a problem with. I do not think the SSPX was ever actually in schism, but that has more to do with the labyrinth of Catholic legalism and what Papal authority actually consist of and what it does not. In any event, Pope Benedict has straightened out what ever division there was separating the SSPX from Rome, and the SSPX has never to my knowledge saw themselves in schism with Rome. Francis has not taken any action against the SSPX that I know of, yet anyway.

This insider politics between church hierarchies can not be seen outside of the context of these Marian apparitions because she directly addresses both the idea of schisms and the ideas of many failures of Rome. The rule for a new order presented at La Salette should be seen as a way to heal the divisions after what has been called the great chastisment. I do not want to fall into the error of trying to discern the when or where of any of this, as we are warned against that in the Gospels, but being aware of what was told to the seers at these apparitions just seems to be something we all should do.

*(Sister Anne's term. She trying to build a new religious order according to the rule promulgated by Our Lady at La Salette. This new order will be on par with Carmelites, Dominicans, Fransicans, etc (I shudder to say Jesuits but ... nope, can't do it. Sorry) but that has nothing to do with this shrine).
