And how are you not being hostile by banning all “leftism”.

I am extremely critical of the left as can be seen here: https://www.reddit.com/r/DoubleSpeak1984/

But as a free speech advocate first and foremost - echo chambers serve nobody.

Greece as a country has suffered with the κόμματα...

How are you any different here allowing half of everything?

Also given this place is right wing as it is. Why do you need to maintain such rules?

Think logically. Represent yourself better.

I know your sub as I subscribed when it was mentioned in /r/AltGreece 🙂

Regarding your concerns, rules don't ban leftism in general, but proselytizing to leftism. There is a subtle but crucial difference here, and for equal measure rules don't allow propaganda for political parties (κόμματα) as well. That doesn't mean that someone would be banned for a political opinion. But testing the waters to see how far they can go towards turning this place into another outpost for their propaganda is out of the question.

The reason for the rules is that we wouldn't want shills engaging in bad faith to try and take advantage in order to turn the sub into something similar to reddit, where /r/Greece is actually /r/IHateGreeceAndWishGreeceDead. So rules might come as "heavy handed", but this is a necessary precaution in order to avoid a reiteration of the reddit situation.

If you have followed /r/AltGreece, we are critical of both Left and Right, and often cite different views on historical periods and figures. We have never banned or censored anyone. Yet /r/AltGreece has been attacked on various fronts, and they have even declared that we are a branch of "Alt-Right" 🙄, which is totally untrue and unbased. And all this because we don't agree to their agenda and have exposed their brigading by their shills and bots.

I can help you word it better if you wish. I feel half your struggle is with relaying what you mean in the English language.

I’m a radical free speech activist for both sides; if I’m completely honest - and most of all censorship - which has taken route on reddit against the right, is my biggest issue right now. Being right and conservative myself doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate classical liberal values of which the most important is free speech. It’s what Socrates died for, and it’s even what Jesus died for. To spread the «λόγος». To critisize established baeurocracies and religion.

Marketing yourself, is important and it seems this sub needs some work done, so that it’s not attracting only one side.

You need impact factors - the ability to win a conversation why you are right and they are wrong.

You already have control of the sub. So I don’t get why you are worried so much about the left. If anything the radical left probably won’t come here anyways.

There are many things that could be improved, and I admit that everything is still work in progress and there is room for improvement(s) as the community grows. So yes, the rules could possibly be phrased in another way.

However, on /r/AltGreece we have a single rule (which leftists managed to break) and never censor anyone. We encourage discussion and debate and avoid bans. Yet, leftists who visit only do so in order to repetitively spout senseless mottos and even threats about slaughtering everyone 🙄 , and are generally completely unable to participate in any discussion, or even to present their own ideas. They act as if their only purpose is to silence or take over other communities, and so far we haven't seen them acting differently.

Saidit asks mods to be precise with the rules they follow, so we kind of followed that rule. We will try to find a balance without breaking any rule 🙂
