Why do you think that America spending more on debt servicing means a "green light on war"?

At the end of the day. Countries borrow for good and sensible reasons.

USA could have saved up billions of its tax income for a few years and then spent it's savings on infrastructure. Then over a few years, the infra will increase America's tax yields. We could have (for example) saved up money for 5 years, built for 5 years, and then 5 years later the tax income would be higher.

Or, alternatively, USA could have borrowed on day 1, completed the building work after year 5, and then enjoyed the increased tax yields early.

So, in the first plan, America takes 15 years to make profit.

In the second plan, we're making more profit earlier, getting quicker out of debt because of the earlier access to tax yields, and overall better off.

So even stupid stories like this one (from zerohedge Tyler durden, whose fake news cost Alex Jones one billion dollars lol) don't really give a good picture for why this is a good or bad thing.

If you're running a profitable company, wouldn't you want to take a massive bank loan to expand your customer base?

You could use the huge new market to make enough money to get quickly out of debt, and the end result would be zero debt with a huge business. Compare that to if you had never taken the loan: you'd still have the small customer base and far lower turnover.

It's the same with America.

We're spending billions servicing debt on our airports and highways and ports....would America be richer today if we never took the loans and never built the highways?

Modern economics says, no, you're better off with the highways and ports.

Wow that's your defense to me enquiring about your economic theory.

Your response reveals how you engage with these fake news merchants like Tyler Durden (whose fake news cost Alex Jones a billion dollars, it bears repeating)

You clearly aren't engaging with these stories as cognitive facts about the world which you can ruminate on, or derive new theories from.

It's just another chapter in a fictional web serial you have been enjoying, a fake story you subscribe to about the downfall of the United Shitholes.

Let's watch as your brain does another hateful screetch, because it causes too much dissonance to engage with what I wrote:

Literally nobody else talks like that on this website, even people who also, like you, believe in fake news stories.

Are you sure you're in the right place? We don't really do that here

Covid was a hoax I eat at a Chinese buffet two or three times a month since covid began if there was an Airborne virus it would be present inside of a Chinese buffet and I would have gotten sick long ago.

I laugh at you f******** wearing your masks because masks are not effective at stopping an Airborne virus you would have to wear one of those Hazmat Moon suits to stop an Airborne virus

I do everything but eat out of the toilet and I don't get covid so go f****** f*** yourself
