I didnt watch the whole video, but on a high level the downfall of the dollar was purely their own fault. They sold off all their manufacturing to china and the global south because capitalism always demands ever growing profits. This resulted in them not really having a real economy, while turning china into a manufacturing powerhouse. They've also abused the status of the dollar by sanctioning and threatening everybody that doesnt toe the us line 100%, which pissed a lot of powerful nations off who are now dedollarizing. Recently there's been some new cope about moving manufacturing to India or vietnam, etc. The only real reason companies like Apple are moving away manufacturing from China is because the standard of living of chinese has been rapidly growing which means they demand higher wages, and those us companies being ultra capitalist as they are, refuse to cut down on their profits. It has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with money.

But they don't realize that they'll never get a suitable alternative to China. India's manufacturing and infrastructure is extremely bad and a recent report showed 50% of iphone cases broke. There's very little chance they can improve and cut down on that corruption because the fundamental ideology of their governments do not allow it. Vietnam on the other hand has a solid fundamental political structure, but they don't have the population of China or the manufacturing and infrastructure quality.
