I particularly have beef with the Protestant missionaries as they appropriated Haotian Shangdi. Now all the normies think Shangdi refers to the Christian/Abrahamic god and not the supreme deity of Chinese mythology and folk religion.

Do not trust any organized western religion, including christianity.

The only christian faction that has any modicum of authenticity and respectability, would be orthodox, such as in eastern europe. The orthodox church is not western though, which reinforces my point even further. Orthodoxy is practically a different breed of christianity from it western counterparts like protestants, lutherans, catholics, mormans, baptists, jehova's witness, presbyterians, etc. Yet even then, it's wise to still have some dose of skepticism towards orthodoxy.
