How did the Jesuits spread Christianity in China?

The first attempt by the Jesuits to reach China was made in 1552 by St. Francis Xavier, Navarrese priest and missionary and founding member of the Society of Jesus. Many Chinese, including former Confucian scholars, adopted Christianity and became priests and members of the Society of Jesus.

If it weren’t for those two indoctrinated morons the Taiping rebellion wouldn’t have happen. It was a contributing factor to what cause the 100 years of humiliation and greatly weakened china.

Although the 100 years of humiliation was terrible it made the Chinese much more nationalistic. This nationalism is what makes China stand a chance at resisting the westoids attempt to destroy them.

I think foreign religions should be discouraged and religions of our own like worshipping shangdi should be encouraged instead.

Exaxtly, it gave an open door to the cornbread British to swoop in. Main thing is not white worship and kick their asses.

This knowledge we have here is vital for pan-Asia. Everyone should know this piece of history so therefore we know who the enemies are. It's quite sad that Asians don't know about the Taiping Rebellion because it affects every Asian and Asian countries. Same thing when you bring up the Chinese exclusion act. They don't these our Asian history in murikan slave school.
