Y'all know the regret rate is super low right? This person had bad results but does not represent most cases.

Find me a couple of transgender research studies without a shockingly high rate of "lost to followup" that supports your claim or you're full of it.

I'm removing this because this response is low on the Pyramid of Debate.

It was a 100% appropriate response. You don't "debate" people who want to cut your kid's dick off.

Tell me what a good result is? I was smart enough when I was a teen to know they can't give you the opposite set of genitals, only sad replicas that require lots of work and DO NOT function the same. What does a successful surgery look like? So far all I have seen is rotting holes and arm dicks that wouldn't turn me on in a million years.

These doctors should be subjected to their own procedures if they work so well 🤣

That's nonsense. There are no good studies of regret because all clinics lose contact with most of their patients.

What do you think happens to those patients they lose contact with?

The only good study showed that suicide rates went up after surgery. https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0016885

Some studies even purposely fake their figures. https://segm.org/ajp_correction_2020

Trans people repeat that they are happy because that's good for the political agenda and they will be disowned if they say anything else but their actions tell a different story. You can see this in real time with your own eyes if you go on srs forums, people openly say they have complications and are miserable but will keep quiet for the good of the cause.

You know that the general surgical regret rate for all procedures, not just ones done on trans people, is like 14% right? In those cases there's probably a similar lack of long-term follow-up, so it should be comparable. It's kinda impossible to ensure that regardless.

What do you think happens to those patients they lose contact with?

Most continue to be happy or content with their results. Getting SRS is major surgery, you have to take time off work to heal and can't do strenuous activity. I can see how someone could resent that in the moment but over time it gets better.

Ah yeah SEGM, an organization literally run by the same dozen or so transphobic ppl in all the other organizations they start, funded by evangelicals:

I'm trans, I personally know multiple ppl who have had SRS and love that they've had it, I'm planning on it myself

This guy was a mess, had his dick inverted inside him, then woke up years later to realize it was a mess and he was a mess and now has regrets. J.K. Rowling saw and archived the tweets, twitter removed them, she mentioned it, twitter put the originals back. Crazy timeline we're on here.
