it really a legalized form of child abuse, ffs your brain doesn't fully developed until your 20's

I mostly blame parents... if sat there and called you a dog all your childhood. you going think you are one. This is proven science

Most people, and politicians seem to accept the current rulings that people can't have sex until they're 16, and can't go out drinking until they're 18, with the reasoning being, as far as I can tell, because they might get pressured into it, or even if they want to at the time, they might regret it later. I'd say the consequences for making a poor decision and regretting it later are much greater here.

That said, and while I do think that pushing gender/sex conflation religious psuedoscience on confused kids is messed up, in this case, the hormone blockers alone are unlikely responsible for the noticeable changes to this lady's face, like facial hair, which I guess come from taking male hormones at a later date, possibly as an adult.

Hormone blockers have serious side effects, including stunting iq

Detransition stats always blow me away, I can't imagine most trans people in the end being okay with disfiguring their body or poorly passing. But I also wonder how they even get these stats...

What do you think happens in the rest if the world?

Doctors in the US have transitioned 3 year olds and that is considered best practice there. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-lgbt-parenting-idUSKBN14B1C8

If you have to wait until after a teenager and done growing they won't have as much of an effect. Of course when you're a teen your brain isn't done developing and you might be making a huge terrible decision.

Gender therapists and SRS surgeons ought to be subject to the same regulatory framework as used car sales.
