So as you all know the GenderCriticalGuys sub was banned today on reddit, and this sub here on Saidit is our new space. It'll probably take some time to get everything set up and filled out, as well as putting together a proper mod team (happy to take volunteers).

In the meantime, assume all of the rules from the original Reddit sub apply here (so no slurs, dehumanizing language, racism, sexism, etc) and feel free to start posting content and having discussions.

Hello!

When you get a chance you may want to take a look at the moderator rules for SaidIt. In particular rule 4 gives subs a choice regarding ideology based censorship:

4a) Mods cannot remove user comments that are both in good faith and on-topic.

4b) Mods CAN remove opposing opinions that are high on the pyramid of debate, and ban those users on that sub, if and only if the 2 following conditions are met: 1: The fact the sub removes opposing opinions is announced in the sub's sidebar. 2: The mods uncheck the sub setting "allow this sub to appear on /all"

Here after my fresh ban from /s/GenderCritical for being a problematic white male. Hope this place doesn't unthinkingly bring reddit's culture of censoriousness with it like many have.

Did they say anything about your being white, or male? I don't think you even mentioned in your comments there that you were white.

Why would they openly state it? But from reading the general tone in the comments and of the moderation team since they started posting here, seems to be their biggest issue. Their hatred of trans-women seems in large part an extension of their hatred of men.

So it’s better if you join the men’s right subreddit instead of following women on saidit to express your nonsense opinions and then play the victim because they banned you. If you aren’t gender critical I don’t know why you are here.

    Ah right, how long before the automod rules start, and posting to x, y, z subs gets you banned from a, b, and c? These people are bringing the cancer with them as far as I'm concerned. They can't ever be part of the solution if they won't even recognise they are part of the problem.

    The NPC's bro. But they don't have a shot as long as magnora and d3rr are presiding over this. I would complain over the rule that they have to take themselves out of s/all if they are going to ban users as they see fit. They just pasted it on the side I think, but they are still in s/all...We shd complain to magnora about this. Make him quarantine them like IP2 lol.

    Exactly, I totally agree with this. It's good to see people like you speaking the truth. I'm GC, I'm female and I'm saying this. Most GCs only ever criticize TIMs, they say "don't invade spaces of women" only because they say "men are stronger than women" but when a TIF invades spaces of men they are like, "meh, good, it doesn't matter because she's not a threat to men and men can defend themselves". Their whole argument rests on their hatred of men, that "women are weak and men are strong, most men are aggressive rapists and they shouldn't be in women's spaces but if a woman goes in men's spaces it's fine because women are sweet and weak and pose no threat to the brute men"

    Like, no. Invasion of space is invasion of space. A TIF has no right to invade the spaces of men, just as a TIM has no right to invade the spaces of women. It doesn't matter that "a TIF poses no threat to men", if a woman is a master of martial arts and a TIM that's weaker and smaller than her comes invades her space, do these people say "meh, it's fine, the TIM poses no threat to the woman"? I'm sure they don't
