the part which says "insecure about their chest for years" and was the start of the transing reeks of fear of being seen as a female or being sexualised (that one is pretty fair). I don't want to assume she was sexually harassed or molested, but she should talk to a counsellor about it. I also wonder about how the parents are raising the kids. The sister in question was 12 when she got the binder and according to OP she's been feeling insecure about her chest for years. 12 years old is a pretty damn uncommon age to feel like that, like I get the "awkwardness", but to try to disguise yourself as male echoes that something else might be off. For me, it was so bad that looking really beautiful, elegant, graceful, zero masculine style made me feel very much scared and "prey", so I wonder if this girl feels the same way too.
