Ah that shit again. Women never struggle with 'passing' as women. We ARE women. Women struggle with unrealistic beauty standards, pressure from society in every direction and often contradictory, upbringing may play a part, et cetera.

Right? What a stupid concept, women aren’t mistaken for men if we don’t slap on lipstick, or are fat, or are hairy. No definition of woman that isn’t ripped right out of twentieth century American stereotypes isn’t just rejected, it’s practically criminalised.

I am an ugly fat woman who doesn't wear makeup, and it really pisses me off that I now have to compete with transwomen who basically look exactly like me. Every time I meet someone they now have to figure out if I have a dick or not. It makes me feel like less of a woman and it hurts. :(

Hugs big hugs. I'm the same no make up(hate it) overweight(trying to lose it) and yes the dick thing while I don't know if I've encountered that I will say I've encountered men who tell me I have an obligation to sleep with them because i should take what i can get because I'm fat. Yeah these individuals are too making me feel less than a woman.

Ahh soclosetobeingselfaware.

So they acknowledge that their mental health issues are not unique nor specific to being trans. And if 'cis' women have these issues, how is transition going to resolve their dysphoria?

Sometimes online with how we communicate people might think we're guys I inherited my father's facial structure and could at times pass as man doesn't mean I'm transgender. Just my look

Been told online I write like a man, doesn't make me a man.

Same. Honestly though OWN IT. Seriously own it. The more places think you're a man the less chance you possibly have being skeezed on by them. I'm all for equality I support men's rights but men these days have become a disgusting piece of work especially online. No guys you're penis isn't a magic wand that can cure cancer, aids hepatitis c or a female's desire for a female. It's a reproduction aid that can also provide pleasure if you know what you're doing. Sorry to disappoint you guys. You don't have a magic cure all. You have a possible pleasure causing waste expelling reproduction aid In your pants. Sorry for this rant but it needed to be said.

They're probably talking about tomboy women, women who don't get dolled up into femininity but this is a massive cope on their part. I work in a gym and we get a lot of more tomboy type of women who come in with very short hairstyles and wearing nothing but t-shirts with sweats or basketball shorts and it's still very clear to me that they are women. I don't know how to explain it but when I see them in person and hear them talk and look at their face, it reads "feminine" to me. Meanwhile we have 2 trans-identified men who come in and both of them don't "pass" in my eyes. Admittedly two of my coworkers were fooled though. Anyway the two trans-identified men, one of them does "pass" when far away but up close you see how obviously male their face looks even with the makeup and especially the voice. The other one doesn't "pass" in either capacity.

Anyway, it's just a cope.

What sex are your coworkers? Just curious, since they were 'fooled' apparently.

One woman and two guys. I was surprised when my woman coworker admitted that she didn't see that the "woman" was clearly a man. The voice, the big fake breasts, and his face up close...

I agree also I am one of those tomboy women minus the short hair.
