And this is why Britain (and everywhere else) needs two things: not giving the Favored Minority Of The Week free reign to do literally anything they want and still get defended, and a legal definition of rape as nonconsensual sex acts, not just an arbitrary subset thereof grandfathered in from a bygone age, because as well as the obvious benefit of allowing victims in less conventional cases to seek justice, it also makes it harder for blatant obstructions of legal action like this to occur.

The legal definition of rape means that it can only be carried out by a physically intact man.

Ahh what?? This definition needs to be updated.

The law in England and Wales defines rape as sexual assault in which a victim is penetrated with a penis. If another body part or an object is used, it has a different name - sexual assault by penetration, I believe. But it's the same level of crime with the same possible sentence.
