My answer is usually, "I'm female."

One time a guy I was serving when I worked food service said, "Sorry for assuming what pronouns you use." And I said, gesturing up and down at myself, "What do I look like?" And he said, "Well... you look female." And I said, "Exactly." He said, "Well, you never know these days. I don't know about all of it though. I'm just an old fashioned gay man." I smiled, and I said quietly, "And I'm just an old fashioned lesbian." We high-fived, and that was that.

My favorite response is "I'm normal"

I've long fantasized about responding "English pronouns, please".

One contention I have with the whole pronouns debacle is it's hypocritical. Apparently gender is a social construct that doesn't mean anything anymore, so why does it even matter? Get called a guy, girl, he/they/them.. Idc. But don't bitch about it when someone doesn't use your favorite preferred imaginary word of the week.

I'd love to know, but not asking for like a survey among the participants, who this question is asked of broken down along sex and age range. Does anyone ask middle aged or older men this question? Does anyone ask older women it? How about younger but adult men, or women? Adolescents? "Tweens"? Kids? I think I'd laugh out loud if I were asked it. I've never been asked it, but I've been called a "manly man" (by someone who was not, in a group where few were, lol)
