They mean 70% of female students, don't they? Or are we supposed to believe that if you choose a student at random, there's a 70% chance that "their" school environment makes them self-conscious about "their" period, and there are no subgroups of students that are more likely to feel this way?

That got me too. Somehow the entirely of the female population and 40% of the male population is somehow made to feel bad about having a period? We live in the most insane timeline.
