Anytime one of them does actually pass they are always from the early-onset group (latent homosexuals). The late-onset group are the problem ("transbians"), as they are the majority. They are straight guys with a fetish going through a mid-life crisis. We probably should have terms that differentiate the two types.

I didn't know Kim was famous for anything other than being a gay boy who underwent re-assignment therapy.

Aren't they also a problem because they reinforce homophobia? These gay men despise their sexuality, and undergo surgery to "trans the gay away", like Blaire White did. They also fetishize women and women's bodies. That sounds like a problem ...

And there are names for both groups, right? The gay men that undergo surgery are called "HSTS", and the men that claim to be lesbians are called "AGP"?

I suppose those are the terms, however their use is rare & sometimes inaccurate. I rarely see "HSTS" used & often see the homosexual ones being described as "AGPs". They are grouped together too often too. Maybe instead of simply saying "x is a man", it should be "x is a gay man" or "x is a straight man", depending.

I think the HSTS are the least dogmatic, generally (Blaire White being the perfect example). I find that the most extreme TRAs tend to be transbians & non-trans identified individuals like straight women & men who identify as progressive.

(Blaire White being the perfect example)

But Blaire White believers "trans men" have "male brains" and "trans women" have "female brains". He also believes "masculine women" and "feminine men" are "genetic defects": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9WqfBDjRF8

HSTS may be the least dogmatic. But that doesn't mean they are not dogmatic and problematic. They are homophobic men who want to "trans the gay away" and that is dogmatic ...

I think JKR & Piers Morgan & most people believe some of that crap to some degree though.

Not in the interview video, but the singing videos yes, likely because they are filtered significantly.

This person likely transitioned prior to puberty so it's less obvious they are male, but the signs are there if you know what to look for. Pre-puberty trans males look like adolescent boys scaled up not like adult women. See Nicole Maines for another example.

Petras was socially transitioned since he was 2 and was already on hormones before 13. He didn't go through male puberty so didn't develop a lot of the easily identifiable male features.

He does have male hands, though. Also the typical male body-shape of longer upper body and short legs.

And he has the typical mannerisms of TIMs like the constant hair stroking.

Sounds like Munchausens by proxy.

I think we have bigger issues to worry about than whether or not some dumb popstar is clockable

He never went thru natural male puberty so he's missing male features. I strongly doubt there's even a single AGP in existence who passes as well as Petras. Almost all HSTS don't pass and AGPs are even less likely to pass

We might see more people like him in the future because it's becoming more common for parents to trans their underage children. That's why we have to focus on actual practical issues like advocating for laws that protect kids from having these harmful procedures

imo he's a victim because his parents transed him while he was still a child

If you search youtube for 'transvestigations" you'll find a bunch of videos dedicated to looking at celebs and deciding if they are trans or not. Some of them are interesting, some of them are clearly weird. Most tims pass better when they are younger, by the time they hit 25+ they start to look more manly and less androgynous and then don't pass as well. In the Im Poppy video he looks like a teenager and I wouldn't have thought he was male if I didn't know.

Poppy and Kim Petras are different people. Poppy's real name is Moriah Rose Pereira and as far as I know she is not trans.

They do look similar, but I don't think Petras passes all that well, particularly when he is pictured next to women.

Edit: https://m.facebook.com/ZachSangShow/posts/people-seem-to-think-kim-petras-and-poppy-look-a-like-what-do-you-think/2417760344943048/ Has pictures of them each them next to the same guy.

I thought Kim Petras is Poppy. They looked alike to me :(

I told my sisters Poppy is a man because I thought that's the same Kim Petras ... Thank you for letting me know! I have to fix this mess tomorrow
