we are all autistic

Self diagnosed, guarantee it. I don't know any actual autistic people who wanna act like a giant baby.

I agree. These are the larpers who are going to make things worse for people on the spectrum. Most don't disclose unless necessary in the case of job applications or we're getting close or want to get close to someone we don't want to deal with the stigma and gas lighting and other types of behaviors people think they can get away with. I can't explain myself outside the bedroom but in my day to day life? Yes I have a few cuddle toys but overall I don't act like an infant in my day to day mom would argue against that point but that's a story for another category and off point.

I remember a discord server I was involved with but only for a short time. We got discussing the self diagnosis surge and even though I semi agreed on it(Read agreed to shut him up) I overall do not agree with it. Most of the diagnosis quizzes are nothing more than buzzfeed style click bait quizzes in the vein of what Taylor swift song should you listen to(hint none classic rock exists.) So no we don't want to act like a giant baby all the time. Some of us want to engage our quirks from time to time but mostly we just want to be seen as equal not like whatever these things were. The rejects pictured in that tik tok are why autistics and aspies are now more marginalized then ever and I want to bash their faces in so hard. Then gouge their eyes out with a tattoo needle in front of their beloved protected trans trender. I promise I won't be gentle.

Yeah... I'm newly diagnosed and was hoping to learn something practical so I can hold down a job and have some semblance of normality. But all the 'support' for adults is overrun with these people who want to be quirky and celebrate their neurodiversity or whatever.

I really think the autism support agencies like the asan(autistic self help advocacy network) and the Geneva center should sadly require 3 pieces of paperwork certified by 3 separate medical personnel to allow for application and stop being afraid to turn away people who refuse to do so. It's hard enough for us even with these agencies then you have these ignorant freaks using our day to day or even us as their purse puppies. Note to them YOU DON'T NEED TO HAVE SOMETHING TO FEEL SPECIAL OR TO FEEL CONNECTED TO SOMEONE. THE BEST WAY TO BE AN ALLY IS TO LISTEN AND BE PREPARED TO SPEAK ONLY WHEN REQUESTED AND DON'T SHELTER OR SMOTHER ESPECIALLY IF THE PERSON YOU WANT TO HELP IS HIGH FUNCTIONING. You can be neuro diverse and quirky without being spectrum and note to sjw activists you don't belong in our programs we don't want you here. We have enough damn problems without your sociopathic whinging, your boundary overstepping break everything you touch hands in our lives.
