She says she 'feels awful', but she seems pretty comfortable posting about it for internet likes. I mean, I'm not inclined to defend the Jan 6 riots, but the Facebook comments seem like the equivalent of drunken bar banter. Is there any evidence that this former best friend is actually planning to harm people?

It disturbs me how eager people are to report on others for speech they don't like. The definition of hate speech has become 'speech that I hate'.

There was no riot on Jan 6. It was a protest. The riots were what happened in cities all across the country in the Summer of 2020.

To be fair, there was some property damage. It's not at all comparable to the summer of 2020(or the ongoing riots in several major cities), but some people there did 'riot'.
