I think it is part of a bigger authoritarian global framework that can only be built by censoring speech and destroying language.

Yes, it is this, not just happening to our community. Making words meaningless. I can’t believe how often I now see them refer to the males as female (the sex) or the females as males( the sex) I am not sure it is just poor word choice when typing.

I never imagined I would call my self homosexual but now you almost have to. Gay is an umbrella for everyone!1! Same gender love!

A phrase that kills me is "Identify as". "Is" works. "Identify as" is not "is". It equates posers with what they pose as, thusly:

"I am x."

"Oh, I identify as x too!"

"hmmm. ... OK, but I am x. Are you saying you are x?"

"kinda. I identify as x."

"That's not the same thing. Get thee behind me poser. No wait, stay where I can see you, you shifty MFer."

Yeah I saw a guy in the gay bros Reddit insisting he was gay because he identified as gay. He was, but in his head it was an identity like gender or something.
