Other winning quotes from this article:

For the 2016 games in Rio, the IOC removed the requirement that trans athletes have genital surgery.

Even I didn't know we were this far gone.

In my case, my Canadian birth certificate, driver’s licence, passport, American permanent-resident card and medical records all list me as female. Every sport organisation under which I compete, such as USA Cycling, Cycling Canada and Union Cycliste Internationale, considers me female.

Words on paper define sex supposedly

It is simply inconsistent and hypocritical to grant that trans women are “women” but not “female” and that trans women should not compete against "female" athletes.

They're beyond just diluting the definition of "women", now even "female" is at stake.

As far as the IOC is concerned, all of the trans and intersex women competing in Tokyo are female, full stop.

So much for the difference between "gender" and biological sex. TiMs went from saying they're different (to lull people into a false sense of security) to now saying that your chosen "gender" EQUALS your sex.

Some believe that including trans women will lead to the end of women’s sport as it exists. Some critics point to me, a trans woman who has two masters track-cycling gold medals from 2018 and 2019. But it is worth noting that the victory was in an age category (35 to 39), not an overall world championship.

Hmmm

It's funny that the author says earlier there should statistically be only 300 trans athletes out of 54,000 Olympians and says "if there were any advantages for trans women athletes, surely we’d have seen it by now." Kind of interesting that such a small number are already winning all these gold medals when competing vs women

There are some people who say that they support trans women to live our lives as women in whatever way we choose, except for in their favourite hobby-horse area of exclusion. It might be bathrooms and changing rooms. Sports is just the latest battlefield. The reason for exclusion is, in short, discrimination.

Interesting how bathrooms and changing rooms are always such a priority

Apparently we’re not “woman” enough, whatever that means.

Yep, I wonder if that means anything anymore

Fairness requires inclusion. Let’s stop policing womanhood, in all its diversity. Let’s celebrate the fact that trans women are women in the ways that matter.

The only "way that matters" that gets mentioned is a piece of paper. Is this our future, where some distant bureau determines if you are a woman or not?

It's unbelievable that in just a few years, they've gone from saying sex and gender are different, to actually believing their chosen "gender" DEFINES THEIR SEX and allows them to compete in sports and do everything a woman can.

I can imagine in the future, women who don't believe you can change sex, are then categorized as something other than women - maybe "TERF" will become a sex. M, F, and T for TERF. Fuckers.
