Slate is references that LA gay magazine which claimed that the incident was a hoax. Ostensibly their evidence for this claim is that Wi Spa claims none of it's transgender patrons were there that day. I don't know why transactivists would be satisfied with the insinuation that this business tracks its trans customers, and no one can explain how they would even know.

Nothing about the video indicates that it was a hoax. It would have to involve a lot of people, given all the women who were seen having fled the spa area.

Also, if it was a hoax, why did SoCal Antifa post on Twitter about the terrible mistreatment this innocent transwoman allegedly received when organizing their violent counterprotest? If it never happened, then Antifa clearly did some hoaxing of their own, but no one wants to address that.

My understanding is that California protects 'gender identity' and that this spa would have no right to turn away a customer from the gendered area of their choice.

Wi Spa manager repeated your last point over and over to woman complaining (sorry her name escapes me, cubanangel on instagram I believe).
