A spokeswoman for feminist campaign group ForWomen Scotland said: “It is frightening that the government would seek to politicise the civil service and co-opt public employees into an ideology that has no basis in law: this can only serve to undermine the impartiality and professionalism of the service.

“We would go as far as to say that it is a deeply stupid and undemocratic proposal, pushing sexist, dystopian ideas which are profoundly at odds with truly liberal progressive goals. It is also further evidence that this government only pretends to consult and ditches any views which conflict with their predetermined policies.”

Name it. Yes!!!

It seems like the government in Scotland is running amok with little regards for what the people actually want. They seem to mostly be in power simply because they can tap into the Scottish dislike of England. The Scottish people need to get over England and vote these lunatics out of their government. At least for awhile until they come to their senses.

They're in power because despite lunacy like this, there are no credible alternatives. Labour and the Lib Dems have no chance of winning an election anyway, and even if they did, they also support it. The Tories are the furthest right-wing and most corrupt they've been in living memory and are the party of Brexit, which Scotland voted strongly against.

All of the default-right parties, i.e. GOP and Tories, et al., are only the furtherest right they've ever been now precisely because of the acceleration of leftist insanity just within the past 5 or so years.

Like, we are literally at the point where they're calling men 'women' and insisting that children be castrated (all on your dime, nonetheless), per their unquestionable, "humanist" dogma - there is indeed a certain point where right-leaning parties become a viable option, and its where you're about to fall into the abyss

They get voted in because they promise independence (although, as has become apparent over the last few years, they have no real desire to pursue it). It's a bit cheeky to summarize the desire for self-determination as 'dislike of England'

How did the UK end up so based on this issue but waffle on everything else?
