Sex isn't legal in prison, is it? Guards already rape women in prison and if they say anything then I thought they risk further punishment while the guard claim it was consensual.

There really is only one option that the government leaves for people: never vote a woman guilty if you are on jury duty and stop avoiding jury duty. Judges and prosecutors do misrepresent the law to juries, and it is not a mistake or an odd interpretation when they do it that will be overturned by appeals courts. You do nothing wrong when you not vote guilty even if you believe the government's case. You are allowed to consider ALL factors, the factor that you may have been a jury over a carefully crafted fiction is one, but sending a women to be raped because you trust a system that would do that is another factor.

This is an excellent point, and one I'll keep in mind if I'm ever called for jury duty.
