because I mentioned Gender Joe Biden

I believe it. I have relatives who signed me off as a conservative far-right Trump supporter the moment I started being critical of Biden about ANYTHING. Even after years of advocating for far-left hippy liberal borderline marxist positions. People in the US largely don't think about politics at all. There are two teams, and you're either on theirs, or you're the enemy.

It's so frightening what has happened in the US. There is a visceral hate now between Democrats and Republicans. It scares me.

Same :( I like my coworkers, and talk to them occasionally about politics - the parts I agree with them about. But I don't know them that well, and I am genuinely afraid of saying that I hold X slightly right-of-center views(to say nothing of transgenderism). It's not just that I'd fear for my employment, I don't want to be hated by these people. Even though we mostly agree!

Move to a Red state and you can let 'er rip ;-)

I travel back and forth between Red & Blue states and, while I'm mostly liberal, if not very liberal, I have to say that I truly enjoy being able to be loudly gender critical in Red states.

I do live in red state... alas. But I can at least try to get involved in local politics.

I contacted conservative women's organizations in the Red state I spend a lot of time in about gender ideology and, when my life calms down, I'm going to see if I can work with them to fight gender ideology in the state legislature.

I treat people as people. IMO we are all flawed. I have done single issue political work with people with whom I disagree on other issues, and we've been successful. So I feel strongly that, if we feel comfortable, we should work with people across the political spectrum to shut down the gender lobby, because otherwise the world will be an incredibly dangerous place for women and children.
