I would show your mom pictures, especially of some of the TiMs who are in women's jails, and tell her their crimes.

And since your mom is a mother, so I'm assuming at least in her late 30s, ask her if it's fair that a woman who's been raped should have to expose her body to ANY man that wanders into the women's locker room.

You could ask her how does she reckon that sex offenders will be kept out of women's spaces given that the US Equality Act allows ANY man to self-ID as a woman and access them?

You could also bring up that children are often in women's sex-segregated spaces too - does your mother feel that it's OK to expose children to a stranger's male genitalia?

What about groups of men entering women's locker rooms - ask your mother if she would feel comfortable with a group of naked men when she herself was naked, because, under the Equality Act, a group of men can come into a women's locker room?

Ask her what if a child or young girl was in the locker room alone - is she comfortable with that young person being exposed to the male genitalia of a group of men?

I think the way forward is to tell our fellow citizens, IN GORY DETAIL, what will happen if the Equality Act, and similar legislation on the state and local level, passes. Most people either have no idea these laws are being proposed, or haven't thought them through, so let's tell them.
