EEOC Celebrates Pride with a New "SOGI" Webpage

"SOGI" being sexual orientation and gender identity. I absolutely cannot stand the way they are constantly intertwining the two so that if you criticize gender it seems like you are also against gay rights.

Also, the federal government in the U.S. is now compelling speech. Be prepared to be sued for refusing to use chosen gender pronouns at work.

Although accidental misuse of a transgender employee’s preferred name and pronouns does not violate Title VII, intentionally and repeatedly using the wrong name and pronouns to refer to a transgender employee could contribute to an unlawful hostile work environment.

While the law doesn't prohibit simple teasing, offhand comments, or isolated incidents that aren't very serious, harassment is unlawful when it is so frequent or severe that it creates a hostile work environment or when it results in an adverse employment decision (such as the victim being fired or demoted).

The harasser can be the victim's supervisor, a supervisor in another area, a co-worker, or someone who is not an employee of the employer, such as a clientor customer.

I cannot wait to see the EEOC sue someone for refusing to use tree pronouns.

(Thank you for explaining the acronym.) Uh, not to worry, this mayn’t last long? For now, gay rights are being associated with gender identity (to the detriment of homosexuals). Soon, sexual orientation will mean something(s) quite different, like “sex” is becoming non-biological, and those “new” meanings for orientation will piggyback off acceptance of “gender identity”, and its place in law. Homosexuality, like women’s gains, will be something of the past, and memories of it erased from acceptable history.

Great. I envision being banned from stores a/o services in order to save them from potential lawsuits due to my misbehavior (formerly known as having an opinion). New POS (point of sale) software containing photos and info on known” problem *nonpersons. If I’m not discouraged from wandering about in public by the urinary leash, or vaccine passports, this will be another tool in “their” arsenal to confine me. Whoopee.

Tyranny. The trap is about to snap shut.

Compelled speech? We're in the US, so some conservative and or free speech org will challenge this.

With any luck, it will be the SCOPES trial redux, except this time the ACLU will be anti-science.
