I actually feel bad for American women because I think many would like to have a family, but few men are husband material. Economics aside, so few men are suitable partners. They wait until they're 40 to suddenly decide they "need" to be fathers.

On the one hand, they tell us there is great strain on the environment. In which case, smaller populations are an improvement.

But on the other, the economic system (and this includes Communist China too; it's not just a capitalist thing; Euro socialism works the same) can only work with never-ending growth. You need more consumers and more people paying in to take care of the old. It's designed to expand forever or collapse.

So the West insists on endless immigration. Korea and Japan are actually shrinking more quickly, and not yet embracing endless immigration -- watch to see what they do. China is slowly grinding to a halt population-wise, before the plummet begins, and they are not likely to allow immigration.

Look to China to see what they do to keep the system going. I wouldn't doubt they say women with under two children will have a lowered social credit score.
