I understand. It's just that I used to go to Reddit to try to socialize because I don't have a social network in my real life and when I came out as GC back in 2019, a lot of the few friends I had abandoned me. So specific Reddit groups like the Goth group and the Gay sub were places I would go to try to socialize.

I don't know if where you live is somewhat back to normal or not, but once you are free to be with people in public again, find older Goths. They know music you might not. You can turn them on to music they might not know. And they are far less likely to "tumblr-talk"! In fact, it would be cool if you would interview First Generation Goths -- especially those who have stuck with it.

I keep waiting for the GC gay movement to grow.

Where I live, we are almost back to normal. Like at least at 80% and rumor has it we'll be back to the way things were in June. I have to admit that I've gotten a little paranoid with trying to meet new people and socialize because I feel like so many people in the alternative scene are on board with the trans stuff and that if they find that I don't buy into it, they're gonna try to metaphorically crucify me lol. I might try and talk with older Goths though, that's an interesting idea and while I have bad anxiety, I've been wanting to try to get somewhat involved in the goth scene in my area but like I said, when I became Gender Critical and got blocked from the Facebook Goth groups for it, I became somewhat afraid to even bother trying in real life but I'll think about it!

To be fair, a lot of the older goths in the scene would be more likely to hold gender critical views. Perhaps, some of such views aren't all too gender critical, and more 'outdated' (i.e., conservative transphobia). But, regardless, you can be gender critical and goth. A lot of the old goths in the musical scene would probably be disgusted at the immoral behaviour of TRAs and trans-identified individuals. Interviewing them would be pretty incredible.

Whatever you do, Kai, I'm always keen to watch :)

I'm just gonna take it one step at a time for now, I'm still trying to figure things out and all haha. But thank you so much for the support, I really do appreciate it! :D
