WTF. 'Male' and 'female' define biological sex. They are definitions. Words mean things. Understanding biology is pretty necessary for a lot of things, like y'know, medicine and stuff.

What do these organizations believe those terms mean?

I just got a flyer from the local (US) YMCA and I was debating calling them and asking them if they were onboard with the Canadian Ys statement. I think I will call, and if my local Y is on board with TWA BIOLOGICAL W I will ask them that question and get back to you.

They will never get another donation from me, ever. And there is literally a YWCA within blocks of my house. Fuck them and their misogyny. There was a time where the YWCA didn't even want male contractors to be in the building to do work, at least the one in my area, and now the dicks can just swing freely and those victimized women are just going to have to suck it up!

Here is where they really make me crazy, because science denial is everywhere right now, and it seems to be so virulent on the left. The left I have supported since I was aware, and I cannot support this, ever. The left that believes in science.

I am politically homeless, and outside of my local (US) rural women's shelter, that will never admit men, I plan to donate to animal rescue causes only. The ACLU, The YWCA, Planned Parenthood can ask their beloved trans women to open their glittery purses and help the orgs out. Mx. Jenny Pritzker has massive fuck-you-actual-women money- ask us how we know.

Trans, Inc., IS donating to all these organization, and also filling up the coffers of politicians - that's why all this is happening.

Don't be too sure about your local women's shelter, because, if I'm reading it correctly, I think that Biden just ensured that any shelter that receives federal $ has to go by gender identity over sex.

We need to make sure that politicians know why Lefty women are deserting Lefty parties, so, ONLY if you feel comfortable, please contact your representatives from the local to the federal level and tell them your concerns.

We need to remember a lot of this political pressure is coming from about half a dozen very rich men routed through a bunch of activist "charities"

This is Canada. Bill C-16 amended the Human Rights Code and Criminal Code to incorporate 'gender identity'. I suspect that this is being driven by the 'Diversity, Equality and Inclusion' initiatives being pushed at all levels of government.

I know a lot of Canadians, including a lot of Canadians who would be Trump supporters if they could - it baffles me that Canadians are allowing this to happen - where is the push back from conservatives? (Sorry - I haven't been paying attention to Canadian politics, although I do read GC twitter accounts)

The Canadian Conservatives are weak and ineffectual, same as the US Republican party right now, I think. The same kinds of woke ideological tricks are being used against them to the point that they also have to deny common sense and go along with everything to not be labeled as bigots.

Absolutely zero principles. It probably will take a nutjob like Trump to break through—unfortunately.

The only ones vocally standing up to it within the Conservative party are the more Christian-family-values, more hard-right types like Derek Sloan and fringe parties with other unpalatable views like Maxime Bernier's People's Party that splintered off from the Conservatives. These people are too edgy to be electable and will not make a difference.

The last time I was in Canada it was Alberta and they seemed pretty conservative to me (it was decades ago though) - the Canadians I met there just didn't seem like the type who would worry about political correctness at all. They reminded me of Americans from the US West, by which I mean the Southwest and states like Nevada, Montana and Idaho, not the coastal West.

So these types of "Don't Tread On Me" Canadians have also been silenced by the threat of cancellation? What a shame.

And I agree that it will probably take a brazen loudmouth like Trump for these Canadians to feel comfortable about speaking up again. Again, a shame.

I see a logic there. It's easier to reduce unemployement rates, when you try to force 50% of the population back in the kitchen. Job positions will now belong to men and transwomen.

I was just thinking that today: COVID, automation and climate change emigration, will lead to a decreased need for some types of workers and a surplus of workers. So taking women out of the workforce (as well as the sterilization of a good % of children) might be part of the ultimate goal of Genderology.

Pretty much. The difference is that I doubt it's intentional. The aim is to reduce the workforce and sterilize kids, but they do it subconsciously.

If this is the way it goes everywhere I will declare myself to be neither female nor male but a new category of XX. I will demand XX-only spaces for every person who has XX chromosomes because male and female spaces will not be safe for XX people as it can be proven that XX are the majority victims of sexual assault and violent crimes. I will demand XX medical care specific to our chromosomal needs and I will not rest until we have out own XX sports, prisons, and public facilities.
